Invite a member
Choose the Working Band and the intended existing performer in the roster. Send an invitation using the available Share Invite, Email Invite or Connection Code action. An invitation identifies the Band and intended PerformerID; contact information alone does not establish membership.
The recipient opens the original link, signs in with Apple for their ShowGen Account when requested, then opens ShowGen and accepts the invitation. Normal Invite/Re-invite activates membership only. No setup package, selected Songs, Shows, Charts, folders or Pulse content is transferred by membership onboarding.
After acceptance, ShowGen establishes or re-enables the Band workspace. Band Sync supplies the current authoritative shared Band Flow data. The sender can Refresh membership status; do not create a duplicate performer.
Installation and invitation safety
See the ShowGen homepage for public App Store availability. Already-installed users can open ShowGen and complete the invitation normally. Before the public listing is live, keep the original invitation link and return after installation. Invitations retain their normal expiry: ask the sender for a Re-invite if yours expires. There is no separate installation package.
An invitation must be accepted by its intended account. Never forward private invitation links or verification codes publicly.
Re-invite, Remove Member and Leave Band
Members are peers. Membership actions target the intended member; one member leaving does not delete the whole Band’s shared data.
Re-invite uses the normal invitation and acceptance path and reactivates the existing account/Band/Performer binding when it matches. It does not create a new PerformerID.
An active member may remove another active member or leave voluntarily. These actions revoke membership access only; shared Band Songs, Shows, Rules and historical references remain. The removed member cannot continue Band Sync until a deliberate re-invite is accepted. Archived Bands cannot invite or reactivate members.
Manual sharing and backups remain separate from membership and Band Sync.
