Pulse is ShowGen’s stage-focused timing, click, Sounds, pad, MIDI, and performance-control module. It works on its own, or can follow the current Song while Flow Mode is active.

Use four pads for One Shots and Loops. Factory percussion includes Cowbell, Hand Claps, Tambourine, Shaker and Sleigh Bells, with velocity layers and alternate takes where provided. Import and audition personal Sounds; set Loop Trigger to Immediate or Next Bar and shape hits with Loop Velocity and Accent Strength. The movable Pulse Mixer keeps global output trims separate from deliberate per-Song Mix Save changes.

The floating Flow Mode Transport follows the live sequence, including Set Breaks, and is available only while Flow Mode is on. The independent Pulse Metronome remains available outside Flow Mode. A live tempo stays live until you deliberately choose Save Tempo to Song; Pulse does not silently rewrite Flow data.
