Pulse is ShowGen’s stage-focused timing, metronome, sample, and performance-pad module. Its local-first foundation provides BPM, Start/Stop, Tap Tempo, time-signature selection, and direct performance controls designed for use on stage.

Four on-screen Pulse pads let a performer trigger built-in sounds without MIDI hardware. Each pad can use one assigned sound at a time, with one-shot or looped behavior, velocity response and threshold controls, while the PulseMixer provides independent pad levels and metronome click handling.

Pulse owns movable and resizable performance surfaces. When a Show is available, Show Mode can follow its ordered songs and recall Pulse-owned, song-specific performance state by shared Song ID; the metronome remains stopped on song changes unless the performer enables auto-start. Its shared transport can also appear inside Sheets.
