One device can Host the active Show, current Song, transport, and live tempo. Other ShowGen devices can Follow that Host on the local network. Followers never silently become the Host.
ShowGen ECHOSystem
Keep the live performance in step.
ECHOSystem is ShowGen’s local-network Host and Follow layer. It lets participating devices follow the same live performance context while each module keeps its own job.
Each performer reads a different personal chart for the same Song. The shared performance stays in view while each player reads the part they need.

Hosts can grant specific follower permissions for setlist edits, eligible loop triggers, and Flow Mode Transport. Future interoperability with specialist live-production systems remains a direction for later development.
The approach
ShowGen does not need to replace specialized tools.
Its role is to coordinate the local live context without taking ownership away from Flow, Sheets, Pulse, or Ears.

ECHOSystem connects nearby ShowGen devices for the live Host / Follower experience. Shared Band Songs and Shows use Band Sync, independently of the local performance session.
