Module overview
Ears today.
Ears is ShowGen’s performer-focused personal monitor-control module, built first for Behringer X32 and M32 mixers. It connects to the compatible mixer over the network, remembers the last successful mixer address, and includes Demo Mode for working through the same presentation without a live console.
Performer-oriented strips present monitor-send levels, channel identity, names, metering, pan or stereo balance, mute presentation, and a user-defined order that can be changed directly. The physical mixer remains authoritative for stereo links: linked sources appear as one stereo strip while retaining their left and right meter information.
Input Gain Mode is available on the full Ears surface for the mixer’s headamp controls. Ears also owns a compact mix widget that can be hosted by Sheets and Pulse, while remaining an independent monitor-control workspace. It is not a replacement for a full FOH mixer, and other console families remain future work.
