Rules and Generate

Choose Rule priorities, save Band presets, generate a Show and review the result.

Open Flow → Rules / Generate for the Working Band’s Rule Presets. A preset helps guide generated Shows; it is not a second Band selector.

Set priorities

  • Ignore: the rule has no influence.
  • Preferred: a preference that can yield to other priorities.
  • Strong: higher importance, but not a guarantee.
  • Required: asks generation to enforce the requirement. Review diagnostics when the available material cannot satisfy it.

The built-in Default starts optional priorities at Ignore. New Bands start with 2–6 Songs per Group; selecting Default does not reset group bounds you already changed. Save custom presets for the current Band. Group Size counts Songs within a Group, not the number of Groups in a Set.

Generate and review

Open Shows → New Show, enter Event Details and choose Generate Show. In Select Rules, choose a preset or leave No Rules selected, then Generate. No Rules is different from saving the Default preset.

Available Songs, performer information and Show details still matter. Review the resulting duration and any diagnostics before saving; sparse libraries or conflicting requirements may prevent the requested result. Edit Show lets you refine the order. Regenerate requests another arrangement when alternatives are available.
