Share a saved Show
Open Flow → Shows, select the saved Show and choose Share Show. Choose Audience, Recipients, Content / Format and Send Using, then Share.
- Band: select members of the Show’s Band. Choose a Band PDF, Plain Text, or a structured ShowGen Show package for existing members.
- Crew / Promoter: enter the delivery contact and choose PDF or Plain Text. The separate Crew PDF descriptors control the information shown for that audience.
You can include Plain Text Set List with PDF or ShowGen Show. Review the chosen audience and artifact before sending. Local/native Email and System Share do not require a ShowGen Account. On Mac, use the offered System Share/copy alternatives where a native composer is unavailable. Opening a composer does not send it.
A recipient opens a .showgenshow file in ShowGen, reviews it and chooses Apply Show. Existing Band membership is required. The Show opens in the normal Flow library and can be edited or performed offline. Applying a matching Show updates it rather than making a second copy; Songs removed from its setlist remain in the Band library. Personal Charts, Sounds and Pulse Song settings are preserved. The source Band becomes Working Band.
Explicit manual transfers
Explicit package sharing, where offered, is separate from normal Invite/Re-invite. Membership onboarding never requires preparing or downloading a content package. Current shared Band Flow records synchronize through Band Sync.
An update changes included records and adds missing ones; it does not delete records merely because the sender omitted them. Optional Charts and samples become personal copies, with existing Charts retained on conflict. Pulse configurations and device settings are not transferred. Only transfer material you may share; imported third-party sample audio remains excluded from Band transfer.
Transfers are deliberate
Manual Show/package sharing is an explicit transfer. Normal Band invitations establish membership; Band Sync then provides ongoing shared Band Flow synchronization. Accept files only from a trusted Band sender. A full ShowGen Backup serves a different purpose: replacing/recovering your setup.
