Standalone and Show Mode
With Show Mode off, Pulse uses your persistent standalone setup. With Show Mode on, Pulse follows the active performance Show and loads the appropriate saved configuration for the current Song. Turning Show Mode off returns to the standalone setup. Global output and device settings remain global; they do not become different per Song.
Flow supplies the saved BPM when Pulse enters a Song. You may adjust the live tempo during performance. Choose Save Tempo to Song only when you intend to write that live value back to the Flow Song.
Pads, sounds, and the Mixer
Tap a pad for a performance hit. Hold a pad to edit that pad’s configuration. Pads can be One Shots or Loops, and external MIDI can trigger the same logical pads. In Samples / Sounds, create User folders and import sounds or grouped variations; Factory sounds stay read-only.
The floating Pulse Mixer can be moved, resized, closed, and reopened. Click Master and Samples Master are global output trims. Per-Song pad volume, pitch, and effects edits are saved deliberately with Mix Save. A new Song does not receive those edits until you save its Mix.
Live Show Setlist
Live Show Setlist displays the current Song and the next queued Song. When you have permission to edit the running order, use Add Song to add an available library Song, or remove, reorder, and undo changes without leaving Pulse. A Follow Performance device mirrors the Host’s context and does not take over the shared running order.
Pulse can continue audio playback in the background when your device and output configuration allow it. Keep the active performance device awake and connected for a live show.
