ShowGen is a free App Store download with one annual auto-renewable subscription for the same product on iPhone, iPad and Mac. Eligible new subscribers can receive a one-month introductory free trial. Apple shows the current localized price, eligibility and renewal terms before purchase; the trial renews into the annual subscription unless cancelled through Apple.
Open subscription settings
Open General Settings → Subscription → ShowGen Annual. The subscription screen also appears when paid access is unavailable. Use Start Free Trial when Apple confirms eligibility, or Subscribe otherwise. A cancelled purchase does not activate access; a pending purchase waits for Apple’s verified result.
The purchase belongs to your Apple Account and is verified through StoreKit. Your ShowGen Account, Profile and Band memberships are separate identities. Signing in to ShowGen, accepting an invitation or restoring a backup does not grant subscription access. The same entitlement applies across supported Apple platforms when you use the same Apple Account for App Store purchases; there is no separate Mac or module subscription.
Restore Purchases
Choose Restore Purchases to ask Apple to synchronize your purchases and check for an active ShowGen subscription. Use the Apple Account that made the purchase. If no active purchase is found, restore does not create a new subscription or extend an expired one. It does not restore a library backup.
Manage Subscription
Choose Manage Subscription to review or cancel renewal through Apple. iPhone and iPad use Apple’s subscription management presentation; Mac opens Apple’s subscription settings. You can also use Apple’s subscription settings.
Cancellation manages future billing. Deleting the app or your ShowGen Account does not cancel an Apple subscription. Review the access period shown by Apple.
Redeem Offer Code
If you have received a private Apple subscription offer code, choose Redeem Offer Code and complete Apple’s redemption flow. Codes can also be redeemed through Apple’s App Store redemption workflow. Apple determines the code’s eligibility and terms; an invitation to a Band is not an offer code. ShowGen checks entitlement again after redemption. If access has not updated, use Check Subscription Again or Restore Purchases.
If access cannot be verified
A temporary product-catalog or network failure does not erase an already verified entitlement. StoreKit’s verified entitlement cache can support offline use within the verified access period. ShowGen does not grant access from an unverified purchase or extend it beyond Apple’s verified expiration or billing-grace deadline.
If access is unavailable, reconnect to the Internet, check your App Store Apple Account, and choose Check Subscription Again or Restore Purchases. Pending purchases, an expired subscription, or Apple’s revocation/refund can leave access inactive. If the problem continues, contact Support & Feedback with the displayed message; do not send payment details or passwords.
Your data and account
Subscription lapse blocks paid access; it does not delete Profiles, libraries or shared Band data. Renewing restores access when Apple verifies the entitlement. Account deletion is a separate destructive action: General Settings → ShowGen Account → Delete ShowGen Account. It does not cancel Apple billing. Read account deletion guidance, the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
