Charts and Show Mode

Create, import, organize, and read Sheets charts in or out of Show Mode.

Create a chart quickly

Select + in Sheets, enter a title, and optionally add artist, duration, and tempo. If Duration is left blank, Quick Create uses 3:45 (225 seconds) as the starter duration. A valid duration you enter is kept exactly as entered.

Select Create Chart to open the existing Edit Chart workspace directly. For a new chart, Lyric Edit is open and Chord Edit is closed, so the source area is ready for you to paste lyrics or chords. Paste follows the normal chart normalization and your effective Presentation settings; it is not a separate Quick Create format. Save when you are ready.

If Quick Create connects to a Flow Song, existing Flow title, artist, tempo, and duration metadata are protected. A missing Flow duration may be filled from the resolved Quick Create duration, including the 3:45 default, but an existing duration is never replaced.

Import and organize

Sheets can import text, PDF, and image charts. Open With from another app can copy readable text into a new Sheets chart; the source document is not changed. Use search, folders, and selection actions to find, move, share, or delete charts.

The normal library view offers All, Recent, and Flow Linked. Your last normal view is remembered on this device. If your build presents a separate sort control, that sort preference is remembered separately. Choosing a library view does not change any chart, Song, Show, or shared band data.

Read charts and use Show Mode

Open a chart to read it. Presentation controls its appearance without changing the saved source. When a saved Flow Show is selected as the active performance Show, turn on Show Mode to follow its ordered entries. Linked Main Charts are resolved for those entries. If no usable chart is available, Sheets shows that state instead of silently substituting a different chart.

Show Mode is temporary. Turning it off returns to the remembered normal library view rather than resetting the library to All.
